Timeline

Here’s a little snapshot of the EdgeTier journey and how far we’ve come. We’re incredibly passionate about what we do, and just as passionate about having a bit of 'craic' while building the best conversation intelligence platform possible. And honestly, it really does feel like we’re just getting started!

  • 2017

    Founded

    We moved out of the attic (our first office) and founded a boutique consultancy, driven by our passion for machine learning and data science. Our initial projects laid the groundwork for something bigger in the contact centre space.

  • 2018

    Arthur was Born

    Our first product, Arthur (now Agent Assist), gained its first paying customer with CarTrawler, helping them improve email support and agent assistance.

  • 2019

    Funding Secured

    We added chat to our offering, expanded beyond Ireland, secured €1.5M in seed funding (ACT & Enterprise Ireland), grew to 12 people, and started making waves in the travel industry.

  • 2020

    Expansion

    We began developing Sonar (anomaly detection) and opened our Spanish office in Barcelona.

  • 2021

    Evolution

    We ventured into iGaming and eSports, while Sonar continued to evolve. Our customer base kept growing.

  • 2022

    Product Development

    We launched Coach (agent QA) and Index (auto-tagging), driving a 3.5x increase in revenue and welcoming our first US customer.

  • 2023

    International Recognition

    The team grew to 17, we raised €6.1M in Series A funding, moved to a larger office, and earned a spot on the Deloitte Fast 50.

  • 2024

    Top-growing Start-up

    Now with a team of 50, we were recognised as one of Sifted’s top-growing startups and are starting to establish a foothold in the US market.
